We are very pleased to announce that through the generous sponsorship of Entelect, the Race for Victory is taking place on 28 August 2022.
Entelect Race for Victory is the only national classic one-day road event that takes place south of Johannesburg’s CBD. This year, there are two distances to choose from: 110km and 54km, with all riders starting and ending at the same venue.
This sponsorship means that all proceeds raised will go to Frances Vorwerg School. Frances Vorwerg caters for children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities as well as children who struggle academically. To facilitate their learning, all children are offered various therapies but this comes at a great cost and the school needs to raise hundreds of thousands of rands each year. By taking part in this race, cyclists are not only be giving back to those children but they will also be cycling the routes on which the likes of the great South African cyclists Alan van Heerden, Alan Dipple, Nick White, Willie Engelbrecht, Andrew Mclean, the Beneke Brothers and Tour de France yellow jersey legend, Daryl Impey, all raced.
